When Jag mohan died, his wife (Saraswati) and Daughter (Dipa) felt the trauma in every aspect of their life. Now saraswati is the sole bread winner of her family including Dipa and Jagmohan’s old father and mother, she is trying to manage her family by working as a daily labor in nearest villages. The 5 year old “Dipa” sometime cooks, cleans, and cares for her old grandfather and mother in her little hand. Dipa a 4 years girl, whose ambition is to become a teacher, now she is started going to her mothers work place, during her school time.
A school going child? Or a child labour? What will Dipa be?
The answer to that could be YOUR RESPONSE.
Through various programs AJSA has been providing education and nutrition to many underprivileged children like “DIPA” since 1990.
But this is just a small step forward. There are thousands underprivileged children like “Dipa” who are out-of-school. Not by choice but because of sheer bad luck and their families burden .
